Teen (11+) Yoga Sessions with Luke
This class combines strength and balancing postures with traditional yoga flow to challenge your child and help them to start developing a strong yoga practice.
All abilities and levels are welcome. Over the course of each session, we will build up to a ‘peak posture’- typically a more challenging pose like an arm balance or inversion. We will focus on developing certain skills and muscles to be able to do this.
A great class for mindfulness, focus, anxiety reduction, and working towards goals in a positive and healthy way.
Hatha Yoga Sessions with Ameeta
Hatha yoga is the practice of asanas (poses) combined with pranayama (breath) which help bring the mind and body to peaceful relaxation in preparation for meditation. If you have never practiced yoga before hatha is a great place to start as it is a fairly gentle practice.
Vinyasa yoga is practiced through flows of asanas. The body moves gracefully from one pose to the next following the rhythm of the breath. Vinyasa can be as strong or gentle a practice as you make it.
Ashtanga is the original power yoga. A systematic sequence of predetermined flowing postures linked together with the breath. If you like a strong practice or vinyasa then you should find this challenging and rewarding.
I trained in India, where I discovered what yoga truly meant for me.
For me yoga is about being the most authentic version of myself and finding balance.
Sharing the limitless benefits of a yogic lifestyle is what I aim to achieve through teaching.
